OUTDOOR SPORTS

A playground is a child’s world and the best learning space.

Playing is important to healthy brain development. It is through playing that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. Playing allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity and physical, cognitive and emotional strength.
Playing helps children develop new competencies that lead to enhanced confidence and the resiliency they would need to face future challenges.

Outdoor games are no more the recreation breaks they used to be. Outdoor games are extremely competitive and require commitment and high fitness levels. Most importantly outdoor games have evolved as very effective tutorials for growing children. They inculcate the very important value of sportsmanship in children.
The extra dose of fresh air combined with all the benefits of physical movements is the ultimate bonus of outdoor sports.

At Trailblazers International School children get the opportunity to indulge in Athletics, Football, Cricket, Hockey, Basket Ball, Tennis and Cycling to name a few.

INDOOR SPORTS

Indoor games were originally invented to help people amuse themselves within the confines of their homes. They were invented to pass time at home Indoor games also meant, mothers could keep a watchful eye on their children while doing their housework. But with time, indoor games have reached another level, matching outdoor sports in almost every aspect of fitness, competition, team work, leadership and many other skills. Indoor games can be briefly categorized into three types viz. card games, board games, and games that involve physical movement.

  • Card Games : Innumerable card games with various deck of cards
  • Board Games : Chess, Monopoly
  • Physical Movement Games : Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Carrom

SCIENCE UNIVERSE

Science is different from any other subject. In order to understand its concepts, one has to look beyond the books and conventional classroom learning. Effective teaching and learning of science involve seeing, handling, and manipulating real objects and materials.
The knowledge that children attain in classrooms would be ineffectual unless they actually observe the process and understand the relationship between action and reaction.

At Trailblazers International School we combine classroom teaching with laboratory experiments to ensure that the students grasp each and every concept thoroughly. Laboratory teaching and experiments help encourage deep understanding in children and they are able to retain the knowledge for longer when they see the experiments being performed in front of their eyes.

FINE ARTS

Art is a delightful way through which one can record the development of a child’s growth. Just as writing and reading improve with age, so does artwork. The role of parents and teachers is to expose children to a variety of materials so that they can create art. Once the variety is offered, children will have a choice as to whether they want to use the materials or not. But without the exposure, there is no choice.

Creating art is a fine way for children to make choices and solve problems. Every step involves making a decision: what colour to use, how to make a line, what size to make something. With every choice, the object becomes more and more of their own.

Children have a great imagination. Art takes it a step further. Thus, they create visual manifestations of abstract ideas. It’s a way to uncover talent that may not be seen otherwise.

BOOK WORLD

A school library plays a great role in the life of a student. It is the storehouse of knowledge.

A school library is a place in the school where vast collections of academic and non-academic books are kept. These books are made available to the students to increase their knowledge and understanding of various subjects.
